The most exciting dance event of the year returns with Battlefest 2026, a second edition that raises the bar even higher. Expect bigger prizes, intense competition, international participation, and a jury of 5 top professional judges from Bulgaria and abroad.

Rules

The competition has three categories: Girl Group Cover, Boy Group Cover, and Solo. There is no minimum number of participants.

Dancers may enter all three categories, with a maximum of three performances per participant.

However, due to the 10×7 stage size, approximately 13 dancers is the maximum comfortable amount.

A solo performance is defined as only one person on stage; performances with back dancers do not qualify as solo.

It is recommended that solo performances do not exceed 4 minutes in length.

Performances must be K-pop or K-pop themed, but teams may mix in other music styles and include their own choreography.

The maximum length of the performance is 5 minutes.

Performances will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Technique – 30%
• Stage Presence – 30%
• Costumes – 20%
• Difficulty and Interpretation – 20%

Difficulty is evaluated based on the judges’ assessment of how challenging the choreography is, rated on a scale from 1 to 10. 

The remaining 10 points are awarded based on how well the team adapts and interprets the K-pop dance, aiming to stay as close as possible to the original style and performance.

Participants must inform the organizers in advance of any props or other equipment they plan to use on stage.

Competition Format


Battlefest features multiple divisions with cash prizes and a final champion battle, giving dancers the chance to win big and qualify for an international event.

Solo Category

Open to all individual dancers. Participants compete in a classic battle format for the Solo title and cash prize.

  • All Out Battle – Dancers get a score out of 100
  • Jury Decision for the Top 3

Group Divisions

Open to Girl Groups and Boy Groups. The competition starts with separate brackets for each gender.

⚔️ THE ULTIMATE CHAMPION

The competition culminates in a clash of styles. The score of the 1st Place Girl Group and the 1st Place Boy Group are compared to crown the winner.
